Foreign Donation

Donation From Non- resident Indians and Foreign Nationals:

EBSR is authorized to receive donations from NRI’s / Foreign Nationals under Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act, (FCRA) for which it has been registered by Ministry of Home Affairs under registration no: 125560169 dated 10.09.2004. The Registration under FCRA is valid.

Contributions from Foreign Nationals / NRIs can be remitted in following two modes:

    1. Individual donations can be remitted either by cheques or by wire transfer.
    2. According to RBI instructions in both the cases, the Indian Donor has to furnish copy of his passport to verify his identity.
    3. Donations by Companies / Institutions/ Corporate Houses can be remitted through company cheques as per bank details given below.
Donors are required to send a letter of intention to the effect that the contribution is being made towards corpus fund or for building construction.
